About the Role
The Employment & Economic Development (EED) Working Group of the Regent Park Social Development Plan (SDP) is hiring a Workforce Integrator to connect residents with real employment and training opportunities. Building on our successful pilot, you’ll coordinate partners, strengthen pathways to good jobs, and ensure residents—especially equity-seeking groups—receive the wrap-around supports needed to prepare for, secure, and retain employment.
Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder engagement: Maintain and re-engage relationships with residents, agencies, employers, developers; convene regular network meetings and document actions.

Implement the workforce framework: Use shared intake tools, tracking sheets, and data to connect Regent Park residents to training, high-demand sectors, and job opportunities; optimize existing pathways and co-design new ones.

Outreach & communications: Lead targeted outreach (equity-focused); deliver 3 in-person info sessions and 1 CPR training workshop; recruit 10–20 additional job seekers and 1–2 employer partners; refresh promotional materials.

Project coordination: Advance deliverables against a revised workplan; complete intakes, minute meetings, book space, and coordinate workshop logistics; support ongoing participant follow-ups with employment service providers; coordinate 3 events/workshops to build community skills.

Evaluation: Track participant progress and outcomes; draft the final evaluation report with lessons learned for the funder.
Qualifications

Background in social/community development (education or equivalent experience).

Demonstrated experience delivering employment programs, event coordination, and multi-stakeholder facilitation.

Strong organizing, communication, and relationship-building skills; ability to work independently with reliable remote setup.

Familiarity with the Regent Park SDP, Connected Communities approaches, and data collection (surveys, focus groups, interviews) is an asset.

Experience with underserved/equity-deserving communities and/or social housing residents is an asset.
